Warm September Days
You know summer is not over just because we are past Labor Day.  The weather is still warm, the leaves are changing and the lake is still warm enough for swimming.  Book today and tell me you want to swim in the lake and get 30% off a booking Mon-Thurs in Sept.  You don't really have to swim to get the deal either!

Viewing the fall colors
The Chippewa National Forest has many scenic byways close to the inn for fall color leaf viewing.  Just the drive into the B&B from the hwy is spectacular.  Come visit us before Mid October for your best color of leaves and trees.  We can set you up with maps to the best places for spectacular color scenes.

Fall Fishing
Dixon lake and lake Winnie are both excellent lakes for fall fishing.  Fishermen come for the great big pike, crappies and walleyes. Your best choice of tackle is a gold spinner and a fathead minnow. Troll along the weed beds or cast along one of our many hot spots.  Guests this weekend pulled in 4 walleyes, a few pike and a crappie right off our dock.

Fall Blog Special
Book mid-week and receive $25.00 off per night.  Good for 2 nights or more Monday-Thursday in 2016. Not valid with other offers.

Breakfast at the inn
Our Bed and Breakfast serves a unique meal each morning starting with early coffee, tea and chia.  Guest come up to the dining level of the home to explore and check out the views while visiting with Me in my open kitchen.  The meal is 4 courses and juice with a wide variety of hearty choices.

IN THE HOSPITALITY AND RESTAURANT BUSINESS FOR 40 YEARS. Lyle and Kathryn owned and operated a Minnesota Resort for 11 years prior to building the B&B.  Together they designed, built and created all the unique features in this exquisite round home built in 2007.  They added the tree house in the spring of 2015. This area is important to them as Kathryn grew up in these woods and so did her father and grandfather.
The B&B is Kathryn's baby and with her history in the restaurant and catering business she is a wiz in the kitchen.

Lyle owns a cabinet and construction Business.
Living in the Chippewa is a dream come true as both enjoy the lake and woods and all the activities they provide.  Both love to hunt & fish and take pride in the home and property.  Kathryn has expanded her gardens and really likes providing fresh organic vegetables and fruits to guests and family.  Another passion is caring for and grooming the ski trails, it takes a lot of hard work but is well worth the time spent.  If the temperature is above 0 Kathryn can be found on her ski trails everyday in the winter. Caring for every aspect of the B&B is what drives her and puts her in her element.
