This is the beginning of the most beautiful wildflower viewing in the Chippewa. Yes! The yellow ladyslippers are blooming
now which is the start of it all. We are seeing the Showy Ladyslippers growing each day, getting ready for thy're
spectacular appearance in a couple weeks. Then we will see the Moccasin orchid, a member of the Ladyslipper family too,
she grows a single stem and can be found standing all alone in pine forests. June is the best time to come as these
wonderful species and many others fill our forest walls with beauty.
